1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Coupe

Here's a 951 Chevy Fleetline Coupe

I found at a aquintaince's barn

He owned the car for over 7 years but it was is

No good kept shape... So we desided to give it a complete new drivetrain

So it got a younger engine...

250 CID GM 1973 Bel Air 6 cylinder / Inline-6  (82 kW / 112 PS / 110 hp)

New repositioned Engine mounts.

New Spark plugs, Spark Plug Cables, Oil & Filter.

Car has been converted to 12V, has New 12v Battery, HEI electronic distributor.

New / Rebuilt TH350 automatic Transmission. Collumn Shift.

So deleted the original (Three on Tree) 3 speed manual transmission...

New extern transmission Cooler installed.

New 3 row alu radiator,

New double elektric fan set up installed. Sensor switched.

Also kept the static engine fan.

The old original torquetube driveline / rear end is swapped to a rebuilt 1982 open drive  Pontiac Trans Am 10 bolt 7.5 rear end with 3.4 (3.42) gear ratio.

Also has a new shortened & ballanced driveshaft. New U-joints.

Alls new wheel bearings and seals in the back also...

As completely new brakes. new drums, shoes, cyllinders, etc...

Front brakes where done also.

Interior is super nice & complete. Nice Black & Blue Dash.

We are glad to save this '51 Chevy to start his "afterlife" ;-)
