1937 Ford Pickup

Here's my latest USA Import/purchase.

Super nice colors, patina

Titled as a 1937 Ford pick up truck.

( Has original Ford VIN on the frame rail.)

Vin matches title...

An extremely dry California cab

on top of a really straight clean chassis.

Stock I-beam front end / axle

with disc brakes and a reversed eye spring conversion.

There's a Chevy V8 engine in it,

USA seller stated that the enigine ran just a couple years ago.

But I'm not gonna sell this as a running motor!

As far as I can see it needs lots of work to get it running,

better is to swap it out, I think.

It's got a saginaw four-speed manual transmission,

tranny seems to be stuck in gears.

I've removed the driveshaft to get the truck rollin

for transport.

Cab and doors are extremely good.

Driver side has a very minimal amount of rust

as you can see in the pictures.

Truck has pretty good sheet metal all the way around

except for the passenger side rear fender

that needs some welding/patching.

There's a windshield frame included,

I als have a pair of new glass that comes along with the sale.

Grill is good, 1935 radiator behind it ( dont know its condition ).

Nice inner fender panels and

a really cool old set of 40 wheels

that are in original paint.

Has older wide white firestone tires,

I believe the rears are good for use

and the fronts could best be swapped with new ones...

Rear end is a GM 10 bolt with parallel leaves that look to be TCI.

Truck rolls and steers easily... good for transport.

No project for starters but what a cool potential truck!

I love it!
